by MichelleMy family has stayed in this home on 3 occasions across 10+ years, and we saw a few welcome updates on our most recent visit, including a newer dock and new upholstery on the main floor furniture. It\'s easy to see this house is well loved by its owners. We had plenty of room for our party, and no issue with the food/drink storage between the main kitchen fridge and the mini fridge upstairs. However, the soft mattresses and lack of box-springs in both the ground floor and 3rd floor master suites caused some poor sleeping for the oldest family members that occupied those rooms. There\'s some \"wear and tear\" with some of the bath fixtures, and the sizeable flames coming from the stovetop and oven were a little concerning and left behind a lot of soot. Overall, this is a lovely home that has worked pretty well for our family trips to South Bethany over the years and we would recommend it to groups looking for elbow room in their vacation house.

137 Bayshore drive
by ValerieI had a party of 13 that stayed in this house the week of June 14-21 2025. Although the house was large enough the fact that there is only one refrigerator to hold food for a house that sleeps 16 is nearly impossible! Every closet other then the bedroom ones are locked. We tripped a circuit and had to call the realtor to send maintenance. The yard was unkempt and there was one lone chair on the patio. I feel like this house needs some changes to comfortably house 16 guests. It was ok to have 3 sets of washers and dryers but the space could be much better if one was removed and a second refrigerator was placed instead. I did bring this to the attention of the realtor and they were very nice, but honestly what could they do. This review needs to reach the owner! We have used Sandcastle numerous times and will continue.
